For companies weighing whether to hire in-house legal counsel or work with an outside corporate attorney, the decision isn't always an easy one. Matthew Wilson, of counsel for Portland's White & Lee and chair of the Oregon State Bar's Corporate Counsel section, worked as general counsel for a medium-sized company before going into private practice.
