Summary


This summer, while most Portlanders are tucked safely in bed, construction crews laboring during the low-traffic midnight hours are lighting up significant portions of highway throughout the metro area.

Starting in mid-June and progressing through September, crews working for the Oregon Department of Transportation will carry out $181 million in highway projects across the Department's Region 1, which covers Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia and Hood River counties as well as portions of Clatsop and Tillamook.
