Portland Parks & Recreation hopes one of the city's original modernist buildings will see new use in the near future, but no developers are showing much interest in the Tom McCall Waterfront Park-based building that once housed the Portland Oregon Visitor Center.

"This is a developer-driven project, so they want someone who can follow through with the project completely, from beginning to end," Jennifer Gauer of Sera Architects said.
