Representatives from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency met with officials from Portland State University last week to review progress on earthquake readiness upgrades it funded last year.
The funding came in the form of a $2.8 million grant, awarded to the Oregon University System and the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries. The grant is being used to upgrade two student residential buildings at PSU - the Ondine and Montgomery Court - and the main administration building at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.See the full content of this document
