Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue got bang for its buck from a $77.7 million capital construction bond approved by voters in 2006. Bundled construction projects and multiple purchases of fire equipment and materials provided significant cost savings.

Then the fire district enlisted Peck Smiley Ettlin Architects to design new, relocated buildings for stations 65 and 68 - using the same design.
