Beam Development will rehab Portland's vacant Washington-Monroe High School near Southeast 12th Avenue and Stark Street into a mix of housing, Beam president Brad Malsin said.

Malsin plans to turn the old high school into town homes and condominiums for sale and for lease with retail "likely" on the ground floor.
