Metro, the Portland-area's regional planning agency, is scheduled to hold 10 open houses and hearings during the next two weeks, allowing residents to voice concerns over urban growth plans for the next 40 to 50 years.

The meetings will focus on the metro area's urban growth boundary and which land would be designated inside and outside of it. Land inside the lines would be open to development consideration in coming decades.
