Construction on Intel's new Fab D1X in Hillsboro could cause 6,000 to 8,000 construction workers to do the workplace shuffle, said John Killin, executive director of the local chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.
That's because most of the workers hired for the project probably won't come from the ranks of the state's unemployed, but rather from a shifting to the new project by workers that already have jobs, Killin said.See the full content of this document
