Local engineering firm David Evans and Associates Inc. has promoted Jay Lyman to chief operating officer. Ken Wightman will continue serving as chief executive officer of the firm and Al Barkouli will continue in his role as president. Firm founder Dave Evans will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors for DEA.
Lyman has worked at DEA for more than 18 years, holding positions as project manager, client manager, discipline leader, business line leader and vice president of professional services. In 2005, Lyman left his position as vice president to manage a 20-firm team in preparing an environmental impact statement for the Columbia River Crossing project. A registered professional engineer in five states, including Oregon and Washington, Lyman has more than 29 years of regional transportation planning experience.See the full content of this document
