The Multnomah Arts Center is asking people in the Portland area to pick up their paintbrushes and use their imaginations to help create a new 140-foot mural at the center.
The hope is to involve 1,000 citizens in creating the mural, both in its design and execution. The mural's theme is Arts in the Heart of the Community, and once completed, the mural will be installed on the walls of the center's main lobby. Aimee Erickson, an artist and MAC art instructor, will coordinate the painting of the mural, which will be designed and painted in large part by members of the community.See the full content of this document
