Contractors will get to work on dozens of new highway projects this summer, thanks to the federal stimulus package. The Oregon Transportation Commission on Friday approved a list of 40 projects that will be under contract by May.
The project list comes to $132.6 million, with most going to safety, preservation, modernization and bridge projects. Approximately $10 million of the total goes to 10 "enhancement" projects that include sidewalks, trails, lighting and crossing improvements.See the full content of this document
