Plans are moving forward on a large solar project at an unused Oregon Department of Transportation rest area near Interstate 205.
ODOT is looking to gain public support in the cities of West Linn and Oregon City to install in the rest area a 3-megawatt solar array similar to the one recently completed at the Interstate 5/ Interstate 205 interchange. Once completed, the solar array would generate 3.2 million kilowatt hours per year, which is about one- sixth of ODOT's power needs in Portland General Electric's service area.See the full content of this document
