Pacific University Breaks Ground On $10.5 Million Library

Pacific University has started work on a $10.5 million library that officials hope will allow the university to keep pace with the Internet age.

While the footprint of the new library is roughly the same as the 41,000-square-foot Harvey W. Scott Memorial Library that it will replace, it will feature technology that its visitors didn't have access to before, university spokesman Tim O'Malley said.
