Summary

Another former Coffee People location is being renovated into a Starbucks shop. The coffee shop at the corner of Northeast Weidler Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard is getting a thorough interior and exterior renovation. In about two months, Starbucks Coffee Co. will have a new drive-up shop at the site. General contractor Wilcox Construction of Edmonds, Wash., is remodeling the property from a design by Ohio architect Christopher Doerschlag.

Two tenant spaces will soon be ready in a building formerly occupied by a Blockbuster Video store. The building at the junction of West Burnside Street, Southwest 21st Avenue and Southwest Morrison Street is across from PGE Park. R&H Construction Co. is handling the remodel with design work by Chesshir Architecture.
