Portland Renovation Roundup: September 8, 2009

Summary

Wood Village City Hall, built in 1941, is undergoing a thorough renovation. The one-story building at 2055 N.E. 238th Drive is getting ADA upgrades, a new roof, new doors and windows. The lobby is being expanded, and a new entrance with plenty of wood and a ramp is nearly completed. Payne Construction is doing the job; Wood Village building official Steve Winstead performed the design work.

The School of Dentistry at Oregon Health & Science University has a newly remodeled patient reception center for its pre-doctoral clinic. Some signage still needs to be mounted before the renovation is completed. The expanded reception center now has brighter lighting and warmer colors. In Line Commercial Construction Inc. is the general contractor for the project that was designed by Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects.
