Macsteel will open a new 100,000-square-foot service center in Portland next spring.

The new service center will process and stock carbon, stainless and aluminum flat-rolled and wide-flange beams for the metal products company. Eventually, the center may expand its product line to include channels, angles, tubes and plates. In addition, the service center offers in-house saw cutting and cambering. The plant will serve clients in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
