Tualatin has had a Central Urban Renewal District since 1975. But its central city area is still suffering from a lack of pedestrian access, inadequate street conditions and the departure of businesses and shoppers to large shopping centers like Bridgeport Village. And by the end of the year, it will have reached its maximum indebtedness of $27.7 million for CURD funding.
